ABOUT ME

My overall research objective is the conservation of vertebrate species, in particular those considering as rare and/or endangered. Applications to endangered species conservation intrigue me and are the underlying motivation for many of my research goals. My research interests and experience also are in wildlife ecology and conservation, biodiversity conservation, community ecology and spatial ecology.

Recently, a new carabid species which belongs to the Family of Dermestidae, Anthrenus bakaloudisi was discovered. It is named bakaloudisi, because I collected the first specimen around Thessaloniki (Holloway et al. 2024).
